finances19158945.jpgThere are so many different technologies available that will help you market your business and gain the attention of your customers without a large investment. Digital marketing is thought to be very expensive by a lot of companies but with the right tools you can easily reduce the cost and still participate in this new form of marketing.

Pay-Per Click
A simple way to get involved in digital marketing is by using a pay-per-click program. Pay-per-click is actually affordable if you choose the right keywords and you focus on your attention on using action words that make your customers want to click on the ads, they will be successful and the overall campaign will work. The nice thing about pay-per-click is that you can set monthly limits on it your marketing efforts so you don't end up spending too much money but that you are spending enough to get the right type of exposure you need to attract customers.

Banner Advertising
Similar to pay-per-click advertising banner advertising helps you to gain exposure to your key audience. With banner advertising you have the opportunity to focus on local ad targeting, which will really help you to gain attention in a hurry and boost your sales. Depending upon the sites you decide to advertise on, you can easily reduce the cost of banner advertising and it will help you to save money while still gaining exposure to your core audience.

Content Marketing
A new digital marketing trend is to market to your customers using content. You want to promote your blog and other things to your customers and gain their attention while establishing yourself and building a name for your company in your industry. Content marketing comes down to writing articles and informative blog posts that provide your customers with quality information that makes their life better in some way.

Social Media Promotions
The other way to gain the attention of your customers is with promotions on social media sites. Social media sites provide you with a great opportunity to learn more about your niche market and to find a way to tailor your marketing message to them and to also work on changing the way you have designed your products and services to make them more attractive to your customers. The nice thing about using social media to promote your company is that it is free to use and it's a great avenue to get in touch with your customers and to build relationships with them.

Mobile Marketing
Marketing on cell phones is already starting to happen but it's only going to continue growing. Mobile marketing is quite different from other types of marketing and it is effective. The downside to mobile marketing is that it is very expensive and it's not going to be easy to get involved in. A number of companies are using text messages to send out their marketing message. Redbox is one company that uses text messages to get in touch with their customers by sending out a promotional code to their customers once a month and providing them with a free movie rental. There are going to be new opportunities to use mobile marketing in the future so you need to focus on the basic text messages now and then gear up for bigger marketing promotions in the future.

Digital marketing is limited for small home business owners that don't have a large budget to work with. You may not have the money to invest in an expensive campaign but you will be able to do some simple things in order to get your name out there and to focus your marketing efforts on branching out to your customers.
