Another thing to think about is signing up for boutiques or something similar to sell your candles. This is going to require you to work the boutique, how long you work depends on the rules of the boutique. If you rent a booth at a craft boutique, you will need to spend a few hours each month working the cash register. If it is a weekend boutique, you will need to operate your booth at all times.

• To place the wick you are going to want to place it into the mold using putty to hold it in place. The part of the wick that extends from the candle should be wrapped around a pencil or something similar so that it is not mixed in with the cooling wax.

It is very easy to burn yourself because you will be handling hot wax, which can spill over onto you as you are melting it or even pouring it into the molds.
