How Can I Encourage My Customers to Come Back?

1. Network at professional association meetings and events. Meet new people and help them. Build friendships with people in different industries - you never know when you might need help.

2. Get involved in the community - develop a "presence" (e.g., sponsor little league teams or become an owner of a ballpark).

3. Send Thanksgiving cards rather than Christmas/Holiday cards, as your competitors probably will.

4. Offer a relaxed shopping experience by having a designated place with activities for the children. Even a manager can provide crayons and coloring books in his/her desk for children of customers.

5. Use a newsletter to educate customers and promote your services. Develop a quick response offer that customers can fax or send back for more ideas/tips.

6. Develop a special report or tips booklet (similar to this one) to send/fax to people who respond to an advertisement or stop by. Examples: "10 Ways to Save $..." "14 Tips on How to Get..." Provide free seminars or education to your customers on your organization's area of expertise.
