Automatic bill pay, how to use it.

Automatic bill pay, and how to use it. Well the way that automatic bill pay works is that you will not be using any paper form of bill payment. You do not have to worry about paper bills any longer, and you will not worry about paper checks or money orders.

There will be no delays in the mail, having to purchase a stamp, run to the mail, or wait for a payment to travel through the mail system.

Online bill pay is handled in a couple different ways. In addition, there are certain bills you can pay through online bill pay. The first step is to find out what options you have for online bill pay, and who can be paid through online bill pay.

The two different ways that you can set up online bill pay are:

Through the provider of the service you are using, credit card companies, utility companies etc.
Through your bank account is the other option. Most banks offer online bill pay at no fee for the service.

Using a voided check can do online bill pay through the company you get service through, or you can use your debit card. The information can be submitted through the Internet on the web page for the company you go through.

The company that you use, like your electric company will then submit an electronic funds transfer each month on the day that you input the information for the payment to be automatically taken out of your bank account.

The use of automatic bill pay through your bank is similar; it can be set up online through the bank web site. You will just need to fill in the information for the utility company. Again, this service is usually free or has little cost through your bank.

It is important, whichever route you go for online bill pay, which you check to make sure that the payments go through your account each month. This way you know that the payments are made on time, that you will not be getting a late fee, and that your credit will not have a negative reflection due to late fees.

The other thing that you will want to check on is that some companies require a paper payment or a payment over the phone. They may not accept online payments through your bank. So just take a second to call the company and check with them on the availability of using online bill pay for their service.

In addition to online bill pay, is that most companies will now set your payment up for electronic bill notification. This means that your bill will be sent to the email address of your choice. This is convenient because you will not have to worry about the paper bill getting lost.

You can also set up reoccurring online bill pay, so that each month you will not have to even get into the account and pay the bill, it will work by itself.

Online bill pay is a convenient way to get your bills paid and with little to no hassle. There are no fees and it is faster than going through the standard mailing system.

What ever option you choose for your payments to be paid, remember that with the different options for online bill pay there will be less trees killed in the long run, and you will have less hassle, so it is a win-win situation all the way around. That is automatic bill pay, and how you use it.
