How to establish credit

There are some great things about credit cards. They are so easy to use and when you don't have the cash you can still get what you want. Without credit where would we be? If you or I could not borrow in order to purchase a car or a home we would probably be stuck with some terrible old vehicle and a tiny shack for a home.

Start with a small purchase and then pay it back before you make another purchase. Make sure to pay the card off completely and you will have established some good credit without a nagging credit card debt.
Another way to establish credit is to live in one place and hold a single job for a long period of time. Although this might or might not alter your credit score itself, it could help a bank or other lender see that you are reliable and stable. Anything that helps to establish some sort of regularity. Even utility payments kept in your name will help you to develop good credit. With some persistence and regular payments you will help to establish great credit.
