Another way to make your travel budget go further is to just plan what you will be doing in a logical way and stick to the plan. If you will be going to one town for a specific event and also want to attend a show there, make sure that you do them on the same day instead of taking two trips from your central location on different days. Be wise with your time and don't be afraid of looking for attractions that are very close to your hotel. Some people neglect the things that can be done close to home and close to the hotel. You may be surprised how many free and inexpensive attractions you can find close to home. Be smart with the activities you choose and remember that your vacation is still supposed to be fun.
