There are some simple ways to save money each day. Just follow the suggestions below:

1. Use coupons: Most people hate doing this, but coupons really can be a great way to save money. If you use one or two coupons a week you can save $200-$300 a year. This per week seems minimal, but what could you buy with $200-$300?
2. Buy in bulk and split with friend, family, or neighbor: Many of the big stores like Costco and Sam's club offer substantially reduces prices per pound for fruits, meats, veggies, and prepared foods. However, most people do not save much money shopping this way because they waste food by buying more than they will use, and throwing out spoiled food. You can save yourself money, and a lot of it, if you continue buying in bulk, but split what you buy with a friend, family member, or neighbor. That way you get the good price without the waste of buying too much.

3. Avoid shopping sales, but watch for sales of items you use regularly: Most people have the mid set that if it is on sale they should buy it.this is not going to save you money. While the item may cost less, you spend more because you think you are getting a deal. So, instead, if something is on sale, avoid it, you will spend far less money this way. However, if there are things you use regularly, you will want to watch for those items to be on sale, and buy in bulk then.
4. Make lists: If you go shopping with a list, and a budget, you will spend far less. In fact, add to this only taking enough cash for what you plan, and leave your cards behind, and you are sure to save money. Most people impulse shop, whether it is for food, or for clothes, or for cars, so plan ahead, and stick to your plan and you will save money.
5. Think about purchases for a few days before making them: If you are buying something over $20, you should think about the purchase a few days before making it. This gives you a chance to get past the impulse side of buying something, and really mull it over. It is most important to do this with larger purchases, but little things add up fast, so start thinking even the small purchases over.
6. Do research: If you take some time to look for the best deal, you will save money. It is important to know that you are getting a great deal, or at least the best price on what you are buying. Most grocery stores will meet or beat prices, but not unless you ask them to. So, know what things have better prices elsewhere, and ask.
7. Use what you have: For example, do not go out for coffee when you can make it at home. Only go out to dinner for special occasions, or on nights cooking is a horrible option because you are busy, etc. This can save you hundreds, for some thousands, a year.
8. Join programs like "keep the change" these programs will actually save money, not just help you spend less on the things you buy. So, give it a try.
9. Make savings a bill: You want to make savings a part of your monthly budget. If you are having trouble saving money, make sure that you pay yourself a set amount every month as a bill.
10. Carpool, walk, use PT: The cost of gas is on the rise, and driving can be very costly, so save yourself money, walk to places nearby, take the bus, carpool, etc.
11. Use credit cards with cash back rewards. This is a great way to save money on your everyday purchases if you pay off the balance every single month.
