Aerobics is a certain form of aerobic exercise that was designed to give you a great cardiovascular workout. But one of the best things about aerobics is that no matter which style you perform you are going to receive a number of related health benefits, which will all work together to help improve your heart. In order for an aerobics to be effective it should involve somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes of warming up, followed by at least 20 minutes of exercise, and it should end with 5 to 10 minutes of cooling down. The reason that aerobics is a great cardiovascular workout is that it is designed to get your heart rate up to your target level and then leave it there for a period of time.

Everybody's target level is different and there are numerous ways to determine what your target heart rate level should be, but basically your target heart rate level is a percentage of your maximum heart rate, which is usually determined based on your age and fitness level. But aerobics uses the percentage of your maximum heart rate in the following ways: the warm up period should involve an intensity of 50-60% of your maximum heart rate, the exercise period should involve an intensity of 70-80% of your maximum heart rate and the cooling down period should involve an intensity of 50-60% of your maximum heart rate.

Another reason that aerobics is a great cardiovascular workout is because it provides your heart with many benefits. One of the main things that aerobics does is to work out your heart, which will actually increase the size of your heart a little. By increasing the size of your heart your heart will be able to function more efficiently. The reason for this is that the bigger your heart is the less it has to beat per minute, which will put less stress on your heart. And it will be able to carry blood and oxygen through your body more efficiently.

Another reason why aerobics is a great cardiovascular workout is because it helps to keep your arteries free from plaque build up. How aerobics helps to keep your arteries free from plaque build up is that aerobics actually lowers your bad cholesterol levels and increases your good cholesterol levels. The bad cholesterol is what causes the plaque builds up in your arteries, so by having less of it you are going to have less plaque, which will also help your heart to work efficiently. Not only does aerobics help to get rid of bad cholesterol, but aerobics also helps to lower your blood pressure.

Basically aerobics is a great cardiovascular workout because everything that it does helps to reduce your risk of heart disease. And even if you have already suffered from a heart attack it can help to prevent you from having future attacks. The reason that it does this is because aerobics helps to keep your heart healthy by strengthen it, but it also helps your body to use oxygen better. One of the main reasons that aerobics helps to prevent cardiovascular disease is because you are no longer leading a inactive lifestyle, which is one of the top risk factors for heart disease.

Just remember that if you suffer from any kind of medical condition, including heart disease, you should talk to your health care provider before starting aerobics. And even if you suffer from a medical condition you can still perform aerobics, you will just have to modify your aerobics routine to meet your physical needs and limitations.
