Struggling with depression
"I have been struggling with depression since I was a teen. I am now 45 and I have a hard time getting out of bed daily. I have attempted suicide 2 times and I am prone to cutting myself when I become overwhelmed by my feelings. About 10 percent or 121 million people in the United States population suffers from depression. The problem with depression is that it affects almost every aspect of your life. Many people ignore depression altogether. Some try to avoid taking medications because they do not like to be dependent upon a drug. Others simply do not realize why they are sad all the time and they refuse to believe they have depression.
