Disguising your tummy

weightloss39169748.jpgMany women think that in order to be beautiful you have to be slim and knock out gorgeous. The thing is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so just because you are not slim and drop dead gorgeous does not mean that you cannot still be beautiful. Most women tend to find that no matter how hard they try the one area they have a hard time getting into shape are their tummies, whether it is from excess love handles or just little pouches.

Women who have a tummy find it harder to hide their tummy, as they get older. The good news though is that there are numerous things you can do to help hide your tummy. Here are some fashion tips that you can follow to help hide your tummy with clothes if diet and exercise alone are not working.

Tip one:
The one type of shirt that you want to avoid when trying to hide your tummy is any kind of short shirts or shirts that expose your bare midriff. If you wear shirts that are too short the minute you move your arms you stomach will be exposed, if you wear bare midriff shirts that will draw attention to the stomach area as well. There are numerous tops you can wear to help hide your tummy; just make sure that the shirts are long enough to cover your tummy. For example, baby-doll tops that are made of cotton will emphasize your bust and will hide your stomach.

Tip two:

You can wear pants that are loose fitting, but that will actually draw attention to the fact that you are trying to hide something. The one thing you will want to stay away from with pants is any type of pants that fit tightly to your hips and are large at the base; you want to avoid these no matter how much you like the style. The reason for this is that tight at the hips is going to cause your stomach to overflow the jeans, which will make your stomach more pronounced rather than hidden. The best types of jeans to buy are ones that are relaxed fit so you have a bit of stretch room in the waist. You can also use pants that have a lateral zip per to hide your tummy.

Tip three:
The one thing that you are going to want to avoid when it comes to choosing clothes to hide your stomach is any kind of elastic clothes or glossy clothes, such as Spandex. The reason for this is that these clothes are going to cling to every inch of your body and will draw attention to your stomach rather than away from it.

Tip four:
If you want to wear, a dress to help hide your stomach you will want to avoid any dresses that are made from polyester or Lycra because they will show your stomach. Rather than getting a dress, you should look at two-piece suits because they have an upright design, which will enable you to hide your stomach easier. These outfits also usually come with a belt or ribbon for the waist, which can also help to hide your stomach. With dresses, you can find flowing dresses made of cotton, you just want to avoid any that cling to your body form. You can also add scarves or bags to your outfit to help move the focus away from your stomach.

Tip five:
If you plan to add a jacket to your appearance, you want to find a jacket that is going to close from the bust. The reason for this is that a jacket that closes at the bust is going to draw attention to your bust and make it look more attractive, which means there is going to be less focus on your stomach. This should be considered with jackets that are added separately or with jackets that come with business suits.
