Exercises for women to burn fat

balance30358409.jpgBecoming fit is going to help you lead a healthier lifestyle, but exercise is also going to help you burn fat. With exercising there is a big difference between women and men, what this means is that you can do the same exercises as men, but that does not guarantee that those exercises are going to be as beneficial for you as they are for men. As a woman, your best option is to find out what exercises work best for you.

Another problem that you face when exercising is that some exercises are better for burning fat and others are better for building muscle. Here are some of the best exercises that you can do as a woman to help burn fat rather than build muscle.

Number one: Cardio
If you are looking to get rid of that fat that is built up around your waistline one of the best things that you can do is any kind of cardio workout. Cardio can also help to tone up your waistline too. One of the main reasons that cardio workouts are so beneficial when it comes to burning fat is because to burn fat you need to increase your metabolism, which is what all aerobic exercises are designed to do. Another reason that cardio works to help tone down your waistline is because it helps to tighten up your stomach muscles because it works out the muscles that support your upper body. Some specific exercises that you can do to help trim down your waistline are treadmills, step aerobics, jogging, and stair climbers.

Number two: Legs
A woman's legs are another area where fat seems to accumulate. The inner thigh is the most problematic part of the leg for women to keep in shape. For some reason even if your muscles are toned, your inner thigh can still look flabby, especially when you walk or run. One thing that you can do to help keep the inner thigh looking tight and firm is laying flat on your back with your hands under your butt. In this position, you will want to keep your legs straight and spread them apart and bring them back together. The second thing you can do will also work your front thigh muscles, your abs, and your butt. What you need to do is stand upright and tighten your legs, abs, and butt, raise your leg to the side keeping it bent at the knee. Once you have raised your leg to waist height kick sidewise to fully extend your leg. Bring your leg back down and repeat this same movement with the other leg.

Number three: Arms
When it comes to getting rid of that flabby skin on your arms you are going to need to work out your biceps, triceps and shoulder muscles. The reason for this is that all of these muscles need to be trained so that your arms look the best they can, meaning no flabby skin hanging down. One thing that you can do to work out your shoulders is to do dumbbell presses or lateral raises. To work out your biceps you can do curls with barbells or another form of weight. To work out your triceps your best bet is to do pushdowns, which require a cable and weights so you must have a weight machine or belong to a gym to do this exercise.

Just remember if you begin sweating while working out that is a good sign. If you start sweating that means, you are burning fat, which means that you are beginning to achieve your goal of losing weight.
