Fitness is a key ingredient to health

In addition to eating the right foods, getting the right amount of sleep, and reducing stress in your life, you have to get exercise. The following are some of the reasons exercise is such an important ingredient to the recipe of good health.

Exercise helps you reduce stress. Stress can do all kinds of bad things to your body, from increasing your blood pressure, to causing your skin to break out and your sleep to become difficult. When you exercise, your body is able to release stress, and helps you to sleep better, and function at a better level during the day. Stress can be very damaging to your body, so getting in some daily exercise as a way to cut back on the stress is an excellent choice.

Exercise keeps your heart strong. The heart is a muscle, and when you exercise, you give it a chance to stay strong. It helps the blood pump better, and gives you the ability to handle blood pressure better. It lowers blood pressure, and does all kinds of other nifty things to make you a healthier individual with a stronger heart.

Exercise helps you burn fat, and eliminate toxins. This is the benefit most people like as it can lead to weight loss, and other noticeable perks. But, one of the things most people overlook is that it is a great tool for eliminating unhealthy toxins in the body. When you sweat them out, you give your body a leg up, and allow it to rid itself of junk that is causing your metabolic systems to not function at as high of a level as it should.

Exercise increases endorphins and makes you happier. This is one that most people know because of the movie Legally Blonde, but it is true. When you exercise regularly, your body has more happy chemicals, and it is going to be able to eliminate stress, and put less stress on your body. Basically being happy can add years to your life, and give you a healthier life, and exercise is one of the top ways to be happy.

These are just a few of the many reasons that you should exercise for better health, and that if you want to live a healthy lifestyle, you need to make regular exercise and fitness a part of it. Not only does it improve your health, but it will improve your body, your mind, and your spirit, leaving you an all around happier, healthier individual.

How you get your exercise in doesn't matter, you can walk, swim, run, etc. but no matter what you do, make sure you get some exercise in. On days when you don't have time, just park further away from the store or your work.
