Fitness tips for the exercise hater
Some people just plain hate to exercise. It is not because they hate how they feel, or because they do not like the benefits or are unaware of them, but because they find it boring. It can be extremely difficult to get yourself to do something that is not exactly fun. So, the following are some tips for exercise if you really hate it.
All of these tips center around the idea that if you find a way to make it more enjoyable, you will want to do it more. So, try the following forms of exercise.

Tip one: Try Dance Dance Revolution.
This is a popular video game, that while a little silly, can be a really great cardio workout. It gives you a chance to have fun while getting up and moving around. The way the game works is you have a pad that goes on the floor, and it has arrows on it, and you step on the arrows as they match up on the screen. You will not only get a good workout but you will also learn some coordination. It is fun, and because it is a game, it is something you can do with your kids, yourself, or friends fun some fun exercise.
Tip two: Try using Eyetoy: Kinetic as a way to get yourself exercising.
This is another game, and much like Dance Dance Revolution you do it in front of your television. This toy has a camera that reflects your image back at you on screen. So, you get to do a whole bunch of different kicks, jumps, punches and other exercises and it is a fun way to get your fitness challenge.
Tip three: Incorporate working out into activities you enjoy.
One of the best things you can buy for yourself if you hate exercise is a Mini Stair Stepper. This is a portable piece of work out equipment that you can put anywhere. SO, whether you are playing video games, watching the cooking channel, or even reading a good book, you can be stepping your way to fitness while you do it.
Tip four: Think technology and get iPods and TVs into your fitness routine.
Many people have found that jogging can be boring, but if you stick in your iPod, you can listen to a book, or some music while you work out. If you have a treadmill, and find it hard to get yourself on it, put it in front of a television. You will have to turn your TV up louder, but you can do something fun while you run.
Tip five: Make it social, get a workout buddy.
One of the best ways to kick the hate of exercise to the curb is to make it a social event. Stick your kids in a stroller and speed walk with your next door neighbor and her kids. Finding a work out buddy gives you someone to talk to, someone to work towards goals with, and someone to not let down so you show up each time. If your friend is waiting at the gym for you, chances are you won't push the snooze button and stand them up.
There are plenty of ways to get exercise into your life in fun and exciting ways. These are just five tips, but there are plenty more that you can employ. Just think about what it is that you hate about exercise, and find ways to make that not so bad. For example, you can get a pet and take them for walks as a bonding time. You get to spend more time with your pet, and you both get more fit.
You just have to be more creative about working out. Most gyms offer babysitting, as do many recreation centers, so do not let kids be an excuse to avoid exercise either. Just learn to enjoy it by making it more enjoyable for you.
