When you are wearing sandals the last thing you want is toe hair making your toes stand out. Your toenails should be the center of attention, not unsightly hairs!

There are a few ways that you can take care of the hair on your toes. Each way works differently for different people. Some would rather it be pain free, others that it is cheap, and some just that there are results.

Here are a few ideas that will help you decide how is going to be best for removing your toe hair.

  • There is always the basic shaving. This doesn't cost anything if you already have a razor. This is a pain free (unless you cut yourself) way of removing the hair. The down side of shaving is that it has the shortest hair removal time. The results only last a few days.
  • The next free way is to pluck. This is definitely not in the category of pain free, it can hurt a lot if you have sensitive toes. This would probably categorized as the most painful way to remove your toe hair, so this is for those with a high pain tolerance. All this requires is some tweezers and something to put in your mouth! The results last quite a bit longer, but they are not permanent by any means.
  • Using a depilatory is another way to remove the hair from your toes. This is a cream that removes the hair just below the skin. The results last about a week, depending on the cream that you use. The cost varies, there are many different brands to choose from. Make sure that the cream you buy says that it will work on toes, the hair is a little coarser on your toes. Some creams will make your toes burn as the hair is removed, others are relatively pain free.
  • Waxing is yet another way that will get rid of your hair. This can be done at home or professionally. The cost will depend on whether you choose to do it yourself or pay for it to be done. The results will last for a week or two, that depends on how fast your hair grows. The pain level is pretty high, but definitely better than plucking!
  • Bleaching is a way that will make the hair less visible but not remove it. This is a way that can hurt if the bleach is misplaced, but shouldn't if it is done the right way. The cost is also variable. The results will be that the hair doesn't stick out until it starts to grow in at your natural color.
  • For the more expensive end there is electrolysis. This is professionally done and can be very costly. The pain is said to be very minimal and the results are great. The hair will be very slow to grow back and if the process is repeated many times, eventually the hair will stop growing back all together.
  • Laser treatment is in the same category as electrolysis. The cost is up there in the high range, the pain is minimal, and the results can eventually be permanent.

All of these can make your feet more beautiful. Whichever you choose, make sure that you have the right tools and especially the right now how. If you aren't properly prepared then you can really hurt yourself, and you won't find any of the results you want.

Show off those toes, not those toe hairs! They don't have be the reason you never wear sandals!
