Here is a look at the pros and cons of a Nordic Track treadmill. These are known to be some of the best-built and durable machines on the market. The Nordic Track treadmills are pretty much the name people think of when they think about a treadmill.

There really is no wonder of this because often time you will find that if someone has had a treadmill for a long time, the name on the machine is some type of treadmill.

As you look a the pros and cons of a Nordic Track treadmills, you will find that though there are a couple cons, the pros for sure out weigh the cons. Lets take a closer look at the details. Starting with the pros, just because I like to look at the good stuff first.

Pros

  1. Durability

The durability of the Nordic Track treadmills is second to none. They last longer than the other machines that are manufactured in their same price range, and quality range. The reason these machines are the most durable is because they are designed by multiple engineers, consultants and by years of knowledge.

  2. Well designed

The design of the Nordic Track treadmills is sleek, smooth, well thought, and of course highly effective. There are also full size treadmills and the smaller tuck away models to choose from. The fold up options and lower priced treadmills make it possible for nearly everyone who want to walk or run, able to purchase and home a treadmill.

  3. Above the average treadmill

The Nordic Track treadmill is better than the average treadmill. The features, quality, design and structure all withstand the test of time when compared side by side to any of its competitors.

  4. Features and options

Features are not the area that a Nordic Track treadmill lacks. They have great programs, walking surfaces, maneuverability and much more. They are all in all designed with the walker or jogger in mind. They can have fans, special programs, heart monitoring and much more. Checking into the different features for different treadmills will help you to make sure you are getting the machine that will fit your needs.

  5. Cost

For the design, and durability you will be paying a little for these treadmills. However, when you are comparing the cost of the competitor's comparable machines, you are looking at a savings of sometimes several hundred dollars. When you purchase right from the source, or through a good online shop, you may also be able to save some extra money.

Cons

  1. Parts

Even though the overall durability of the machine is very sound, the parts inside of the machines lack a little. This can cause for some repair issues to come up. The reviews that have come up for Nordic Track treadmills almost always end up bringing up the parts replacement and repair.

  2. Warranty

The warranties for the Nordic Track treadmills are often times lacking in time frame. They may offer a couple year warranties. However, if the frame lasts and the parts inside do not, you will likely be paying for the part replacement yourself.

  3. Assembly

Sometimes the assembly of some of the Nordic Track treadmills can be a little tricky. For the main part the instructions spell it all out. But, it can be hard to get it going. The designs of some of the treadmills are such that they are sometimes moderately challenging to put together.

  4. Noise

There are some of the styles of treadmills through Nordic Track that are a little louder than some would prefer. However this is usually in the older styles. Which was a common concern for many of the older styles of treadmills. For the most part the designers have found a way to manufacture quieter machines.

These are the overall pros and cons of the Nordic Track treadmills. There really is no wonder that these machines are a favorite of many. They make the cost, enjoyment and effectiveness of getting a good cardio workout very possible.
