How to dress for aerobics

Aerobics is any types of exercise where you are maintaining 60-80% of your maximum heart rate. Just like any exercise you should wear comfortable clothing where you are able to more all of your limbs freely. There are several different types of outfits you can wear when you do aerobics. It really depends on your personal preference, when you choose your aerobic clothing. Some people like clothing that hugs their curves and some people like clothing that hides their curves, just make sure that you can move comfortably. Let's talk about the different type of clothing you can wear when you are doing aerobic activities.

If you are a girl then you will need to start with the right under garments. You should wear a sports bra that will give you plenty of support. Make sure that your sports bra is not too tight because it will become uncomfortable for you. Next you will want to wear cotton underwear. The cotton underwear will allow your genital area to breath during vigorous activity. If you are a guy you can wear a spandex athletic shirt, this shirt will help catch and hold the sweat that will roll off of your body. you should also consider wearing cotton underwear as well, because men's underwear is usually cotton already don't worry about it.

Sometimes women like to wear spandex clothing. This type of clothing hugs your body and allows you to move very easily because there is no excess fabric to hold you back. You can find spandex tops with built in support bras, this would be good if you want to cut back on layers of clothing. If you are self conscience about your body you don't have to wear a top that hugs our body, you can wear a regular size tank top. It is best to wear a shirt that fits you well, (not too small and not too big) because remember you will want to be as comfortable as you can be.

When you decide what pants you are going to wear the same applies as the shirts. You can wear spandex pants, shorts; work out pants, or regular sweat pants. This really depends on your personal preference. Make sure that you are comfortable in what you are wearing because you will want to focus on your workout not on why your pants are falling off, or why your butt crack keeps showing. Wear pants that fit you. Don't get too caught up in the way you look because you are doing aerobic to stay in shape not to look good while you are doing it.

The most important item that you will wear is your shoes. You will need to have the correct shoes for the type of aerobic activity you are doing. Your shoes should fit comfortable and should not be too tight or too loose. If your shoes are too tight or if they are too loose your feet will be hurting when you finish your workout. If you go to an athletic shoe store they will have a wide variety of shoes for almost any sport. Some shoes can even be used for several different sports. If you are into running then you can purchase a good pair of cross trainers. Cross trainers will be good for most any aerobic activity.

You don't have to have any specific types of clothing to do aerobics, the important thing is that you are comfortable and you can move your limbs freely. It is not necessary to buy expensive brands of clothing for your work out. Your choice of aerobic clothing is based on your person preference. Just remember have fun and always enjoy your workout.
