How to not get sick this winter is a question lots of people ask. It's the cold and flu season by name, but how do you avoid the cold and flu this season? There are so many wonderful things that come with winter, like Christmas, skiing, parties, it can be an absolute wonderful winter, if one could just not get sick. There are some things you can do to help prevents getting sick this winter. Start with washing your hands, a lot. Then take vitamins, to help give your immune system a boost. And third keep a clean house.

Wash hands. This may seem simple, but it is very important to good health. In all that people do in life they do a lot with their hands. Hands get all the germs coworkers, students, or family and friends try not to give. When a person shakes hands or even touches another person, germs are transferred from hand to hand. There is no way to prevent a persons germs or sicknesses from getting on you, but when you wash your hands with soap and hot water it will kill the germs and prevent them from spreading father into your body.
Of course it does help to not purposely get too close to someone who is coughing and wiping his or her nose a lot. But even if you do be sure to wash your hands with warm water and soap before you touch your face or eat anything. Washing your hands will dry them out but better to have dry hands and use lotion than to get the office cold that is floating around.
Take vitamins. There are so many multiple vitamins that a person can take on the over the counter market that each person should be able to find a multiple vitamin. Taking a multiple vitamin daily helps give your immune system a boost to fight off and unwanted gems that cause illnesses.
If you're not sure what kind of vitamin to take you can always ask your doctor for suggestions. Some vitamins that are helpful to immune systems are vitamin C, zinc and a good multiple vitamin. The vitamin C is a great way to boost immune systems. Vitamin C can be taken different ways. There are chewable tablets and pill form to just swallow; there is even liquid form of vitamin C. Any of these will help you to not get sick this winter. Also take lots of vitamin C in natural ways like orange juice.
Zinc will help prevent colds from bothering your body. Zinc is mostly available in capsule form for adults to take. Zinc has what your body needs to fight colds and keep them away. A multiple vitamin has all the vitamins that we don't get in the food we eat to help keep us healthy. So taking one daily in one form or another is one way of how to not get sick this winter.
Clean house. This is done for company, right. But also it needs to be done for your health. When you keep a clean house, bacteria and germs are less likely to stay alive and infect those in the house. Even if no body in the household is sick, there could easily be someone come visit who could be sick or a carrier of a cold virus. Keep the house wiped down with antibacterial spray or wash in areas that hands touch. Like doorknobs, light switches, door jams, bathrooms and counter tops. The cleaner the house the less you'll get sick this winter.
