How to tweeze the perfect shaped eyebrow

The natural shape of our eye brows can be beautiful. For some women they can get away with just leaving them natural. But for others they just seem to be overbearing and out of control.
It is so easy to fix the problems with your eyebrows at home, but it is also possible to make the problems much worse. When tweezing your eyebrows you want to find the perfect shape.

The perfect shape will vary from face to face. There is no template of the perfect eyebrow. You have to do your brows how you think looks best. But there are some tips that will help you to make sure your efforts are causing more problems than they are fixing.
Here are a few ways to ensure that your tweezing goes well.
- Before you start take a warm, wet wash cloth and set it on your eyebrows. This will open up the pores and make the hair easier to pull with less pain. Some people have said to freeze your eyebrows with ice before so that you don't feel it, this is not a good recommendation. The cold closes up the pores and make the hair more painful to pull out and it will leave your eyebrows much redder after you get done.
- Take your eyebrow brush and brush the hair in the direction of the growth. This shows you what the current shape of your eyebrow is. Then take a toothpick, nail file, bobby pin, or anything with a point and separate the hair you want to remove. This gives you a good idea of what your eyebrow will look like after.
- When you are pulling out the hair with the tweezers make sure that you are pulling in the direction of the hair growth. This direction will make the hair come out easier. If you are trying to pull against the growth you will find it more of a challenge and that it hurts a lot more.
- Make sure that you are pulling only one hair at a time. More than that is asking for disaster. One hair at a time sound tedious, but the results will be much more in your favor if you can just use your patience.
- A rule of thumb for eyebrows, though there are thousands of more ideas is that your eyebrow should start just above the inner corner of your eye and it should end just slightly past the outer corner. This is not the "perfect eyebrow" but it is a good place to start. After all, you still want your eyebrows to look natural.
- As you get done tweezing you need to take a good look at your eyebrows to make sure that they are even. You can have two eyebrows that are shaped perfectly, but if those shapes are different then you are going to have a problem. This is one reason that one hair at a time is a good rule. Take one hair and then see how they look in comparison.
- Now brush them again and see if there are any stragglers you need to take care of. Your eyebrows should still look natural and symmetrical.
If you accidentally go a little far or can't get the right shape, you can go to a professional and pay for them to be fixed or you can try to mask them with makeup. This is something that will take a couple of tries to get right, but makeup can help make your eyebrows look more normal again.
