Having a beautiful face is important to many people in our society and modern world. Grooming is very important and eyebrows are one of the most important features of a persons face. They can express strength and power or grace and elegance. Eyebrows can also say a lot about how you are feeling and help express emotions. Here are some things that will help you groom and tweeze your eyebrows to perfection.

Tweezing your eyebrows is a serious matter and is something that is a routine for some people but may be a new task for others. Whether you already tweeze and are looking for new ideas or are a newcomer and need some help getting started, here are some steps to help you tweeze your eyebrows properly.

  1. Start with the right equipment - You are going to need specialized tools to do a specialized job right. There are some basic tools that are essential to tweezing properly. First you will need a pair of tweezers. There are many options available and it may be good to have a pair of straight and tapered tweezers to do the best job on your brows. You will also need a mirror. You may normally use the one in your bathroom, but tweezing may take some time and it might get uncomfortable to stand up for a long period of time. A portable mirror is often a good choice and allows you to move it back and forth depending on how much of your eyebrows you need to see to do the best job possible. Some handheld mirrors even have a second side that magnifies the reflection so you could get even more detailed. It is also important to have a white pencil to mark how you want your brows to be shaped. Another important thing that is often overlooked while preparing to tweeze is good lighting. If the place where you plan on doing your brows is not lit well, you may consider getting a lamp or choosing a better spot that will allow you to see those mystery hairs that sometimes go undetected.
  2. Prepare for your tweeze - You need to know what to expect and what you want to get out of your tweezing experience. One very important thing is to keep in mind what you want your brows to look like after you have tweezed them. Many people forget that the purpose is not to remove your eyebrow entirely and may get carried away if they don't know how far to go or when to stop before it is too much. This is why having a marking pencil is important. It allows you to adjust the look you want and to get it without taking off too much hair. Another thing that will make your tweezing easier and more effective is taking a hot shower or bath before starting. This allows the hairs to relax and become softer and more pliable and the pores in your skin are also more relaxed and allow the hairs to come out easier. One of the main benefits of having a hot bath first is that it will not hurt as much when you actually pluck the hairs.
  3. Tweezing - Technique is very important if you want to achieve the perfect tweeze. Using the proper tweezers you should always pull the hair straight out, never down or up. Doing this properly allows for the hair to come out along with the root rather than just breaking it at the skin or near it. It will allow for you work to last longer and look better too. It is important to make sure that you don't get carried away with your tweezing. Taking off too much hair, which people often do, makes your brows look underdeveloped and unprofessional. It is also a good idea to ease into the look that you want. If you take off too much hair at one time you may have lighter skin that draws attention to the new look of your brows in an unwanted way.
  4. Maintain your tweeze - It is much easier to keep up a good tweeze job every day than spending an hour on it every few weeks when it looks like you have a few caterpillars on your forehead. Regularity is important for keeping that perfect tweeze in line with the way you want to look. You will get better at your tweeze as you do it more often and you will learn what looks best on your face with experience.

Make sure that your brows are even. It is a good idea to look at a bigger mirror every once in a while to make sure that you are getting the same effect on both sides rather than looking like one of your eyebrows is always raised in suspicion.

Never use a razor on your brows
- It may be faster but it will not give you the precise look that you will get from tweezing and you will not have results that last as long because you are only cutting the hair and encouraging growth by shaving them.
