There is no getting around growing older. It is an inevitable part of life. A child wants to get bigger and bigger, so they ca be a big kid. A teenager can't wait to be 18 and on their own. But as adults get older, they want to look younger, or at least not look older than they really are. Looking great in your 40's becomes a major issue for many men and women. Men and women want to look great and feel great when they are in their 40's, so they can stay active and enjoy their 40's.

Looking great on your 40's usually will require some effort and work. There are some people that require little or no work to look great in their 40's. Those that may want a tip or two to help them look great in their 40's, consider these thoughts.

Get an update.
1. Hair
2. Cloths
3. Makeup.

Get an update when you are in your 40's. There are many men and women out there that try to look like they did in high school or even their 20's. The point is they have gotten older and they need to update the look they have. This does not mean look like an 80-year-older grandma. There are a lot of different styles to choose from and there are styles that will make you look great in your 40's

Begin with your hair. When is the last time you had a hairstyle change? Hairstyles change almost as much as clothe styles. If you still have the same basic hairstyle you had 20 years a go, try something new. If you don't know what you might like, go to a salon and talk to a hair stylist. It might be fun to try a new hairstylist to get your new hairstyle going. For women in their 40's a shorter hair style is more becoming. This is because hair typically thins out, as people grow older. The shorter hairstyle gives your hair a lift and is a lighter look, which is a better look for those in their 40's.

The next update a person will need to make if they are in their 40's is to their cloths. The cloths those in their 40's should wear, should compliment their body. This means stay away from tight cloths and for women no mini-skirts. A man or woman in their 40's should look for cloths with collars, to help hide the wrinkles.

This doesn't mean you have to cover up everything. Keep the varicose veins hidden as well as the wrinkles. But stay away from baggy cloths and get cloths that fit your body. Women in their 40's can wear knee length skirts and some great looking shoes to show off the legs and ankles. Also the shoulders still look great when you are in your 40's, so wear what you want to show off the shoulders.

When changing your cloths, think lighter shades. Think new colors, and think colors, not just black. Think cloths that fit your body, whatever the shape. Think cloths made for your gender.

The last update includes the face. Go get a makeover at the mall or your favorite department store. The shades of makeup should be lighter if you want to look great in your 40's. Also there are great makeup products that can help reduce the wrinkles, further helping you to look great in your 40's. And try different colors with different products. Make your face look great and you will feel better.

When you are in your 40's, you want to look great and feel great too. This can be accomplished by simply changing the appearance you have. Getting a new update in hair, cloths and makeup can transform you from a doughty looking 20 year old wanna-be to a great looking 40 something old person who has confidence.
