There are many "tricks" that may help you when disaster strikes or that may help keep your skin from getting to that point. Here are a few of them you may want to try at your own discretion.

Changing your pillow case often, especially if you are a side or tummy sleeper, will help your skin and pores from collecting anything during the night while you sleep. You will want to change the pillow case maybe two or three times a week to help keep your skin clean at night.

Be sure to take off your makeup and wash your face every night before sleeping. Try using baby wipes or makeup remover wipes to cleanse your face and remove your makeup is a quick and easy way to accomplish this at night when you are tired and just wanting to go to bed already.

Don't wear makeup! When you are just hanging around home or home for the weekend go without makeup. Allow your skin to breathe and be natural when you don't have to wear makeup.

The toothpaste trick is an old method that may work for you. Dab a small amount of toothpaste on a blemish before you go to bed at night and it should be dried up by the morning.
