Have an exercise routine. A strong torso will help to prevent back and spine problems. Making exercise a regular in you life will help to keep your torso in good condition.
Make sure that you are working on strengthening your back muscles. They protect and enable your spine. If you are letting your back muscles slack, then you spine is taking all of the heat.
Try aerobics. The oxygen increase helps your body all the way around. Added oxygen helps with blood flow, and your spine does best with lots of blood flow. Find an aerobic workout that you like and take part regularly.
Make sure that when you do injure your back that you get the right treatment. If you are not doing what is best to fix what is wrong then it will only continue to get worse. Consult a doctor for persistent back pain or any severe injury of your back.
Try a chiropractor. They know a lot about your spine and what you need to keep it healthy. They can help you work out any pains and they will have great suggestions for what is best for your body.
Sitting and standing cause a lot of stress to your back, so make sure that you have time each day for lying down and resting. This can be a nap or simply making phone calls from bed instead of in a chair.
If you have a doctor prescribed back brace listen to their instructions on how often to wear it. If you wear it too much then your back muscles will stop working and you will be in even more pain when it is time to take it off. Always listen to your doctor.
