What to avoid for a healthier life
There are things in life that we have no control over, but for the parts that we can control we need to make sure that we are doing our best. Some things in our lives we bring in voluntarily even though they are not good for our health.
Here are a few ideas that will help you know what to avoid so that you can have a healthier life.

Here is an obvious one, you should avoid smoking. There are so many things wrong with smoking and it can make you so sick. If you don't have smoking in your life your health will improve but so will the lives of all of the people that are closest to you.
Other things that are good to avoid are caffeine and alcohol. There are claims out there for both of them stating that they can be good for you, but even in moderation they are not positive for your health.
When eating try to stay away from processed foods. They can cause so many problems. The fresher your food is the better it is for you and the more nutrients it retains.
Here are a few additives that you should stay away from. Their side effects are all different, but they all tend to be bad for you. Stay away from: acesulfame potassium, blue dye 1 and 2, olestra, potassium bromate, propylgallate, red dye 3, sacchrin, sodium nitrate, and yellow dye 6.
Try to stay away from sugary foods and soda drinks. They do aren't good for your health or for your teeth. Sugar isn't something that you have to cut from your life, but make sure that it is under control.
Avoid over eating. When you eat too much you can make yourself sick. That terrible bloated and ready to pop feeling isn't a good thing. Work on moderation, even if you are eating at a restaurant with big portions.
Maintain a healthy weight. If you can avoid weight gain then you will have a much healthier life. There are very few instances where weight gain is a good thing, such as pregnancy or being underweight. Then the doctor will tell you what weight gain is good for you.
Make sure that you are not sleeping too much. Just as bad as not getting enough sleep, too much sleep can cause you to feel tired and run down. Your energy levels will be very low if you are sleeping too much.
Keep a low stress level in your life. Avoiding stress can help you to avoid tension and headaches. Stressors can't always be avoided, but those that can be should always be avoided.
As much as you can avoid being around negative people. They can bring you down to their level and make you feel miserable. Find positive people to be around and become like them. Positive is what will keep you going in the right direction.
This one may sound crazy, but avoid accomplishing all of your goals. This means that as you accomplish one goal set another one. If you run out of goals then you run out of things to shoot for. Make sure that you always have a goal that you are aiming for.
Avoid falling into every trend. Some trends are fun and some are even healthy, but take a good look at what you are doing before you do it. There are some trends that are very bad for your health.
Also avoid being overworked. Spend a good amount of time at work but make sure that you are making time for the other things in your life too. Being overworked can cause unneeded stress and tension.
