Why choose kundalini yoga over another style?

If you are new to yoga or just starting to expand your options when it comes to learning different styles of yoga you might be wondering why you should choose kundalini yoga over the other styles of yoga. The truth of the matter is that there is no real solid answer as to why you should choose kundalini yoga over other styles of yoga. The reason that there is no clear answer is that not every style of yoga is right for everybody, which means that while kundalini yoga might be right for you, it might not be right for your friends or relatives. Kundalini yoga is one of the older styles of yoga and it is similar to hatha yoga in the aspect that it uses many of the same postures as hatha yoga, but rather than holding the positions you are constantly moving in order to awakening the kundalini energy which normally lies dormant at the base of the charka.
Just because there is no cut and dry answer as to why you should choose kundalini yoga over other forms of yoga does not mean that there aren't any advantages to this style of yoga. In fact the advantages to each style of yoga are different. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of the different styles of yoga is what will allow you to decide on one style of yoga over another.
