Women-Specific Symptoms of Heart Attack

When a man has a heart attack, it tends to be noticeable.

But women suffer symptoms that are far more subtle. In fact many doctors can't properly identify the symptoms of a heart attack in women.

They include:

- A breathless feeling, often without chest pains of any kind

- Flu-like symptoms - nausea, cold sweats, feeling clammy

- Feelings of anxiety

- Unexplained fatigue, weakness or dizzyness

- Pain in the upper back, shoulders, neck or jaw
We encourage you to print these out, memorize them, and stick them on your fridge. You'll be amazed at how few people know these simple life-saving symptoms.

If you, or someone you know, experiences these symptoms, you should contact a medical professional immediately. If it is urgent, call 911 and get her to a hospital immediately, because there are treatments that, if given immediately, can significantly increase the chances of survival from heart-attack.
