Start by using wallpaper as a piece of art. You don't need to wallpaper one full wall to share the bright colors and patterns that are on the wallpaper; instead cut out a section of the wallpaper that you are attracted to. Put the section of wallpaper into a picture frame and hang it on the wall. You can create a collage of different framed wallpaper or have on giant framed piece of wallpaper on the wall. Your new framed artwork will become the topic of conversation. You can also leave what the artwork is a mystery and have your guests wondering what it is.

Use the wallpaper to create a design out of and attach to the wall. The design you create can be a shape, such as round, square or triangle or make it an animal shape. When you have the shape you want, put that shape on the wall. You just added wallpaper to your wall. For example, if you are creating a little girls room as a princess theme, cut out a crown shaped piece of wallpaper. The crown can be one large crown or can be a variety of sizes. Place the wallpaper along the back part of your storage space. You can also apply the wall paper to the shelf to help minimize the amount of scratches and wear and tear the bookshelf or pantry will see. If you are placing wallpaper on a bookshelf that people can view, select a wallpaper color or pattern that will accent what you are placing on the bookshelf. An example to use, if you are placing a bright red bowl on vase on the book shelf, chooses a lighter color that will help the bowl and the vase stand out.

Replacing different items in your home can cost your money. You may want new end tables, a new coffee table or a new table runner. Instead of purchasing brand new items, use wallpaper to give these items a new finish. Replacing a headboard in the bedroom is a great way to spruce up any bedroom. All you need is a piece of plywood, the wallpaper and wallpaper glue. Place the wallpaper onto the plywood and let dry. Once it is dry, hang the plywood above the bed as a new headboard and you are completed. If you want your new headboard to pop out more, add different embellishments onto the headboard.
