- Follow ant trails at night for the best chance of finding their nest. Then use a paste mixture of 5 Tbs. cornmeal with 3 Tbs. of bacon grease. Add 3 Tbs. of baking powder and 3 packages of yeast. Put into jar lids around the ant nest and it will do the same thing as the cream of wheat granules.
