Making your garden gorgeous can be pretty easy. You just have to find colorful plants and vegetables that will make your garden look beautiful. Here are some tips for making your garden colorful and inviting.

First off, use climbing plants. There are tons out there. You can plant honeysuckle, ivy, and all sorts of vines. They look beautiful along the edges of your garden. They give it a sort of closed in feel with some beautiful color. Often, when you first plant your garden it looks like a huge pile of dirt in your yard. It can really look bad and be a sore spot. Planting some vines or honeysuckle bushes really give it color and make it look great.

Add some trees. Trees take a lot of water and nutrients so if you are thinking about planting trees, only do it away from the main part of the garden. If you have a ton of space for your garden, add some peach, apple, or other fruit trees. They look beautiful when the fruit starts to grow on the trees, and they help to make the garden look beautiful and like a real part of the yard.

Plant your plant in a variety of different heights. Put plants in layers and mix them up if you want. It will take more remembering on your part, but make a pattern with the plants and make them look like the are some sort of beautiful part of the garden. Use different colored plants together and use flowers too. Using flowers helps to bring even more color. You can use flowers like honeysuckle that still give something, or just use plants, like tomatoes that give off flowers before they give the vegetable.

Use plants that are themselves beautiful. Sage is a wonderful example. It is a great decorating piece and gives off a very useful spice. Plant peppermint too. It has very green leaves and looks like a small bush. If you use a spice a lot, see if you can plant it yourself. Some are really hard to use or take up so much space that it isn't worth it. But if it is, plant it. You will have something that looks great in your garden and that helps to bring some color, and will save money because you won't have to buy it.

Use your plants to line things. If you have some tomato plants in a box, one that is built into the ground and is made to bring the plants up higher, then like the edges of the box with carrots, or something small that makes a pretty design. You don't have to use something that is a different color, but use things that are the same color but smaller. It will give the box more definition and will look great.

You don't want a huge brown spot in your yard that is supposed to be your garden, so have fun with your plants. Even if you have a small garden, you can still make it look beautiful. Just plant things that you will use that look really great next to other things.
