What you should have in your potting shed

If you have a garden, you will want to have a wooden cupboard or shed devoted to holding your gardening supplies. These sheds are called potting sheds. The following are some of the things you should have in your potting shed to help make your garden beautiful:

Pots: so you can pot plants that you grow, or wish to grow.
Bulbs: bulbs are what you plant to grow flowers, and they hould be stored in your potting shed as inspiration for your growing needs.
Seeds: vegetable, flower, ground cover, it does not matter, you are going to want to keep seeds of whatever you like to grow in your potting shed.
Fertilizer: this helps your plants to grow, and your garden to be greener, keep it on hand, and easy to find.
Potting soil: This is great for filling in flower beds, or for transferring your plants to your pots to beautify your home's interior.
Hose: without a hose, it can be difficult to water your plants.
Gardening essentials: this includes tools, sheers, spades, mowers, etc.

If you are not organized with your tools and gardening supplies, then having them is no good. This is why having a potting shed is such a good idea. If you can't find them, you won't use them. So, get organized, and have the right things in your potting shed.

Your potting shed should contain shelves. These shelves should be large, you should have plenty of them and some up high for the items you do not use very frequently. If you have enough selves for everything, you will be able to stay organized, and you will be able to find things when you need them.

You will want your potting shed to have clamps and hooks that you can mount on the door to hand tools, like sheers, spades, etc. Hang the items you use the most at a reachable level.

If you have a large potting shed, one large enough to store wheelbarrows, a lawn mower, etc. you will want to have a ramp that you can pull out to make wheeling such items easier.

You will want something in your potting shed to store items. Covered storage is important. A store bought wooden box with a fitted lid corrals bags of potting soil, fertilizer, or charcoal for the grill. You may want to have some help to keep bags upright, and divide the box in two. You will want to make sure that you put a handle on the lid so that it is easy to remove. Last but not least, because this box will likely be heavy, you will want to store it on the floor, under the shelves.

You will want to add some protective racks. These racks should be used for saws and sheers, and anything else sharp or dangerous. So, keep these tools from cutting other things, and create a protective shelf, where you use two one by six pieces of wood, and wood clocks between the boards at different intervals to hold tools firmly in place.
There are plenty of items you could have in your potting shed, but what you choose to have is up to you. What kinds of plants, and items you wish to plant and have in your garden will determine what you have in your potting shed.

Your potting shed should have all things necessary to make planting and beautifying your garden easy and fun.
