Wrongful death lawyer

Aren't lawyers bad?
Ok, ok, we've all heard a good lawyer joke or two in our lifetime. Everybody's heard a good lawyer joke. For example - "Why did scientists switch from rats to lawyers when performing their experiments? Because lawyers breed faster and are harder to get attached to." Etc. etc. Lawyers are evil. Lawyers are nasty. Lawyers are wicked. Lawyers will steal your last dollar from you, they'll steal your soul if they can (owning to the fact that they don't have souls, of course). Lawyers are money-hungry shark-like predators with grinning toothy smiles and bloody chins. Etc. etc. We've all heard the jokes - we've all heard the comments. There are probably millions of lawyer jokes out there. "How do you get a lawyer out of a tree? Cut the rope." "What's the difference between a lawyer and a bucket of pond scum? The bucket." Etc. etc.
What good's a lawyer?

All jokes aside, lawyers do perform a fairly vital role in our society. Lawyers, after all, maintain and uphold the law. The law is a very, very complicated affair, and lawyers are trained to be experts in the law. If you think of the law as a great, tight, complicated knot, a lawyer is someone with extremely clever fingers who can come in and unravel that knot for the average man and woman who haven't benefited from training in the law.
What's a wrongful death lawyer?
A wrongful death lawyer (also called a wrongful death attorney) is a lawyer who deals with a fairly grim business. A wrongful death lawyer or attorney deals with the subject of death, of course, and with a very specific kind of death, too. Wrongful death means death that occurs because someone was irresponsible, or because someone was angry, or murderous, or violent, or lazy, etc. Basically, when death is intentional you have a case of wrongful death. Basically, when a death comes about because of someone else's stupidity, you have a case of wrongful death. Wrongful death lawyers or attorneys are trained to sort these very complicated cases out.
Give me some examples of what wrongful death lawyers and attorneys do
Well, let's say that you've put your father in a nursing home because he's no longer able to take care of himself, and you've got too many responsibilities as it is. You put him in a nice, comfortable nursing home. Let's say that your father has a condition that requires him to take a certain pill every day. Without that pill, say, he runs the risk of suffering a heart attack. And let's say, finally, that the nurse assigned to your father in the nursing home forgets one day to give him his pill. His nurse just forgets all about it. She's got things to do, people to talk with on the telephone. She forgets. And - your father dies from a heart attack. That would be a case for a wrongful death lawyer or attorney. That's clearly a case for a wrongful death lawyer or attorney. A wrongful death lawyer or attorney would come in and try to get you justice for your father's death. A wrongful death lawyer or attorney would prove to a court of law that the nursing home had been irresponsible in the case of your father's death. Let's take another example. Let's say that your brother-in-law loses his temper and strikes your sister. He strikes her, she loses her balance, falls, and hits her head in a funny way. She dies. That's another case for a wrongful death lawyer or attorney. Wrongful death lawyers and attorneys are in a grim business to be sure, but they're vital to our society.
