
We all have that little box we call our comfort zone. It's cozy and comfortable and right where we want to always be. Getting out of your comfort zone can open up new and exciting opportunities and new challenges that can build your self-confidence and your self-worth. Making the first step out of your comfort zone is the hardest and most difficult to do. But once you do, you will find a whole new world that is at your fingertips ready and waiting.
Stepping outside of your comfort zone will also help you to find out who you are and what you want to do with your life. Experience new things and new challenges to keep you attitude positive and keep yourself motivated.
Next time you are out shopping or at a social gathering, start a conversation with someone you don't know and have never met before. Saying "Hello" is the hardest part. Being the first person to start a conversation will give you some self-confidence and encouragement that you can meet new people. Meeting new people will open up a whole new world that you didn't know was there. Knowing a variety of people will help you to learn more about socializing and learning new things about yourself.
You may meet someone who loves to skydive and goes 2-3 times a week. You may find yourself wanting to go with them and try it. Once you try skydiving, you may have just found yourself a new hobby and something new to motivate you to trying new things.
