The funny thing is, even with that killer body, you probably wished you could get a better body. Many Americans struggle with weight loss because of our own personal demons. We let our laziness get in the way of helping us actually get off our rears and exercise. We opt for unhealthier food choices because they are convenient and quick. It seems like many of us use lack of time as an excuse for many things; however the only excuse we really have is our own personal issues that make us steer clear of getting a better body.

Don't let changing overwhelm you

concernedman19185284.jpgThe idea of change is extremely overwhelming to most people. Even if they do not recognize the idea as overwhelming, implementing change often is. Thus, change is not something you readily see in people's lives. People who are bad with money, usually stay bad with money, even if they win a lottery, or get a raise at work, they will often still struggle to make ends meet. People who can't make their first marriage work, often remarry, and that ends in divorce as well. Change is hard, but it is not impossible, especially if you can get past the overwhelming part of it, and work on yourself.

cellphone30362662.jpgFinding the inner strength to exercise is tough for most people. Once you have an exercise routine and you consistently do it, it's not too hard, although it is hard to start-up again if you stop for a couple days. Many of us can come up with the exercise goals we want to meet but there is the problem of how to get there. People that are overweight often become discouraged when they don't see quick progress because they face additional obstacles like cutting calories and burning more fat. Individuals that are just trying to tone up may also face challenges because they don't like putting on weight to tone up (since muscle weighs more than fat).

How to motivate yourself to stop being judgmental

Do you find that when you walk into a room you automatically judge the people in it? You look at what they wear, what they eat, what they say, how they act, etc.? Many people feel that being judgmental is a flaw to overcome, and we couldn't agree more. It is damaging to yourself and your relationships. The following are some great ways to motivate yourself to stop being judgmental:

1. Put yourself in their shoes. If you take the time to actually think how you would feel if you were the one being judged, you will likely be less quick to judge others. However, one of the best ways to motivate yourself to stop being judgmental is to take a look at how you feel about being judged yourself. Would you want someone thinking those things about you? Would you want someone to look at your actions and interpret them the way you interpret theirs? When you take the time to think it through, and apply the situation to yourself, that is when you recognize the need to stop being judgmental. That is when you get motivated to hold your tongue.

How to get motivated to excel, no matter what you do

Some people have a very difficult time finding the motivation to accomplish a goal. There are those who have a knack for excelling, and then the majority of us who need an extra boost of motivation to get us through the day. Having the motivation to excel is something that can be very personal for each of us. We all have unique situations and our own reasons for wanting to get ahead in life. What may motivate one person may not even affect another person's view. Before anything else you need to decide if you really want to do what it takes to excel. If you are complacent about wanting to excel then you will have a very hard time becoming motivated.

Have a positive attitude - Even the most motivated people fall short of their goals from time to time. But it is the truly motivated individual who keeps trying. `Motivation to excel no matter what' could easily be used to describe the term determination. Often times motivation and determination can be the same thing. When you are determined that nothing is going to get in the way of your goals you are fully motivated. Many times it is our attitudes that end up being the most difficult things to control, not the outcome of a situation. Even if you have not accomplished your goal despite multiple tries, with a good attitude you are better off because of the experience.
