Get motivated, take charge of your life
When you get motivated, you take charge of your life instead of letting your life take charge over you. How? Let's take a look at some examples:
1. If you can never get motivated to eat right and exercise, then you are always going to be slave to calorie counting and the worry of putting on that next pound. However, if you get motivated, and you started practicing proper nutrition, and you spend time exercising daily, then you find that instead of depriving yourself of treats, the occasional treat is really going to be fun. You decide what you can have, instead of a diet, or a plan. Also, you take charge of your life instead of letting poor health, disease, and an ailing body keep you from doing things you want to do. You will have the energy and vitality to play harder, work harder, and have more fun. You will look great so you won't be slave to make up or an expanding waist line.

2. If you never get motivated to improve your work habits, you will never get a promotion, raise, or get further along. However, if you get motivated, and you work hard, are responsible, and show your boss you are worthy of a raise, promotion etc. You will get one. How does that help you to take charge of your life? Well, you will make more money for the same amount of work, which opens up opportunity and possibility to do other things. You also will find more confidence in yourself and in doing so you will explore your dreams further, and dictate your life instead of having a boss or someone else dictate your life, schedule etc.
3. If you are motivated to keep things clean in your home, and clean as you go, for example, when you get things out, put them away, then you will be able to take charge of your life. How? Well, you will not be a slave to never having enough time. Instead of having to try and find time to get your house clean, you can spend that time doing things you enjoy, like reading, watching movies, going out with friends, and you get the benefit and luxury of having a clean house.
When you aren't motivated life runs you over, you find that you are always behind, and that you never have enough time to do the things you want to do because you are always busy doing the things you have to do. You get stressed out easily, and your stress levels cause you to not be as happy or have as much fun with family and friends. It also leads to bad health.
So, take the steps to get motivated today. When you do, you will find that you enjoy life more, and that you have more time, energy, and freedom than you ever thought you could have.
Set realistic goals for yourself, plot out the steps and outline how you are going to do the things you want to do, and then remind yourself, reward yourself, and really do those things. You will find that the feeling of pride and accomplishment you have when you do the things you set out to do becomes motivation enough. But, until then, work hard, play hard, and get yourself some reminders, sticky notes on your forehead if that is what it takes to get motivated and take charge of your own life.
