How goal setting helps with motivation


You know that there are things that you want to change in your life, but you don't really have any motivation to start making any changes. So why are there so many people who are making changes in their lives and why are they so different than you?

The answer is goals. You will not find any motivation to make any changes in your life if you don't have goals set. There are so many reasons that goals help us become and stay motivated to make changes in our lives.


Here are a few reasons why it is so important to have goals in your life always. These will show ways that goals help us with our motivation.

 Having goals gives us direction and focus. If you want to accomplish something but you are wondering aimlessly, just hoping you are headed in the right direction, you will never find the right path.
 Without goals you may wonder if you will ever achieve any changes. But goals give you steps that are achievable so that you can work up to your over all desire. Tasks are not overwhelming when you break them down into easy to tackle goals.
 Goals can reduce your stress. You know exactly what you need to do to accomplish everything you want to in your life. If you don't know how to get there, you can really get stressed out easy.
 You will find more self confidence when you have goals. When you feel like you can achieve things in your life, you can't help but feel better about yourself. Who wouldn't go for more self confidence?
 Goals push you to be better and make you do your best and better than your best. You will find that once you have started achieving goals that you never want to stop, the feeling of accomplishment can be amazing!
 Goals help you prioritize everything in your life. They help you take care of the most important things first and help you see where different things fit in your life. Goals help you to see where you have been missing out and where you don't need to spend as much time.
 Your goals are great for you, but they can inspire others too. When they see you going for your dreams and being motivated it is contagious and they will want to be better too. Inspiring others gives you an added push to keep going, even more motivation.
 When your goals are stated in positive statements they give you a happier state of mind. To always have positive on your mind makes you a more positive person, you can't help it. Positive people are more motivated for good causes in their lives.
 If goals have rewards at the end, its hard not to work on them. When you know what you will get if you accomplish the goal and you really want it, then there is no stopping you.


First you have to have a vision, this gives you somewhere to start. Then you set your goals and work out a game plan. This gives you the motivation you need. Then you work on achieving your goals, and you should always seek counsel from a mentor in your life.

Goals work with every aspect of our lives, and they will all work together to make us better all around. Set goals that will motivate you into action. Make sure that you have goals that are achievable and written down, they aren't real until they are written down.
