How to become a better you?

How to become a better you? The hard part about becoming a better you is that you need to know what that means to you. The only person who knows what a better you is, you.

Therefore, in order to become a better you, it will first be important to know what a better you are to you. The steps to doing that will be as follows:

1. Ask yourself what a better you is
2. Do some soul searching and find out what you want to improve
3. Take some time to figure out what you would think is a better you. This can be a few minutes, or some real brain storming time.
4. Decide what you find important. The reason this is needed is because some things are more important than others.
5. Remove all of the negative comments you have heard from your opinion of what a better you is, and then decide for yourself what a better you is in your own opinion.
6. Give yourself a break; you are probably a pretty good person. All to often we are harder on ourselves than anyone else could be.

After you have thought about what a better you would be, it is a good idea to write down all that you have figured out. This will be a base of the goals you will need to set in order to prepare yourself and follow through with your self-improvement.

Then it will be important to go through your list and figure out what is realistic, and feasible for your goals to be. For example: If you say you want to lose 30 pounds in one month, that is unrealistic, and also dangerous to your body. Therefore you want to create goals from your list that is feasible and logical.

After you have your goals listed, it is time to become motivated. The best way to be motivated is to look at your goals and take the small simple steps to get started. The goals you make need to be broken down into smaller sections or smaller steps. This will make it easier for you to obtain your goals and will make it easier to feel motivated. When you are motivated, you will find that you are working towards becoming a better person with more strength than you had imagined.

As you get through each step, you will move to the time that you will need to take the time to evaluate what you have done. Start by doing the little things and accepting them as an accomplishment and then going to the next steps, which are a little more challenging.

When you have gotten to each of these crucial points in your plan it is important to reward yourself in little ways to keep your motivation up to a high level of growth.

Finally as you are becoming the "you", that you feel is a better you, it is a good idea to respect yourself and accept praise for the job well done you have completed. The reason is that even through the little accomplishments, if you do now reward yourself, and pat yourself on the back, you may lose the focus of what you are working for. YOU!
