How to overcome your self-limiting beliefs? We all have some belief in us that may limit what we think we are able to do. These self-limiting beliefs can actually be debilitating enough that we stop functioning with success in our daily lives.
This is a severe problem for many people. However, there is some steps you can take to overcome those self-limiting beliefs. Here are the steps to try.

Step #1
What makes you feel limited or intimidated? Why do you feel that way? When you evaluate the feelings and memories that you have surrounding that type of action, then you will find that there may have been something that happened. That made you feel that you could not do that action, or process.
For example: A person could have watched something traumatic happen when they were younger. Then when the experience anything similar to that experience that happened, they would not want to have the same thing happen to them. This is where having self limiting beliefs can come from.
For example: If you experience an embarrassing event as a young person. Much like having your pants rip in the bottom, or something like this. It is possible that you can have self-limiting beliefs happen about public speaking or being the center of attention.
Now of course this is not the same for everyone. Some people can shrug it off, laugh it off, and say ok, lets try again. It all depends on what a person feels inside. That is where the second step of what you can do to overcome self-limiting beliefs comes in.
Step #2
After you have realized what events and actions increase the feelings of self-limiting beliefs, you can then go to the next step, of changing those beliefs. This is hard for some people. The reason for this, is because they do not realize that they can change their future. The past is the past, however the future is all theirs to create. It is like a brand new white piece of paper that is for them to create the art of their life.
That is what step number two essentially is. It is taking a moment to realize that each new event or action that happens in your life is a brand new white sheet of paper. This paper is ready for you to create your own art future.
Step #3
The final step and possibly the most important step is remembering that you are human. We are somewhat progressed from the apes, lions, and alligators. However, it is a good lessen that we can learn from them, of letting go of what has happened and getting on with the next thing in life.
Accidents, and mistakes happen. Choices are just that, a choice that was made, that will have some type of action that will follow. However, regardless, they are all in the past. What is important is the ones we make in the future.
With this in mind, you can follow these steps to recognize the self-limiting situations, and then realize that you can change the future of your events, and finally accepting that stuff happens, and we just need to deal with it and go on. This is how you can overcome your self-limiting beliefs and change your life in a more positive manner. When you take the time to change the self-limiting beliefs, you will be building an entirely new set of habits.
