Increasing motivation through positive reinforcement and rewards

There are many different things that you can improve in your life. One might be motivation. Motivation is a hard thing not to have these days. Sometimes it takes motivation to get through a day. With out the right motivation things might get over looked or might not even get done. Helping motivate people by positive reinforcement is better than trying to do it by negative reinforcement. Here are some reasons why increasing motivation through positive reinforcements is a good thing and the rewards that can come from it.

The first reason why increasing motivation through positive reinforcement is a good thing is because it makes people think that you are actually noticing what a good job they are doing and will help them want to do more. For example if an employee is working on a project for work give them positive reinforcement. This will help them feel good about themselves and it will increase their motivation to want to succeed if they think that what they are doing is worthwhile. If there is no positive reinforcement and they think they are just doing a project to occupy time they won't be motivated and will not give it all they can.

The third reason why increasing motivation through positive reinforcement is a good thing is because it will help people want to do the best work they can which will be a reward to have a winning team.

The fourth reason why increasing motivation through positive reinforcement is a good thing is because it will teach a person to always want to do their best. For example if your child is always whining about doing their homework or doing their daily chores giving them positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement will usually make them want to do a better job when doing their chores or their homework. Kids love to hear positive reinforcement. The more positive reinforcement you can give your kids the more they will reward you by doing the things that you ask without whining about doing an assignment.

The fifth reason why increasing motivation through positive reinforcement is a good this is because it helps build self-confidence. If a person is not always feeling like they are being judged they are more willing to do the things that need to be done to the fullest. Positive reinforcement is the best way to build self-confidence.

The sixth reason why increasing motivation through positive reinforcement is a good thing is because it will help you to feel good about yourself. If you have to find the positive in people instead of the negative it will help you to have more self-confidence in yourself, which is a reward to you.

There are so many reasons why increasing motivation through positive reinforcements is a good thing and there are so many rewards that come along with it. Make sure that when you have to reinforce something that you do it through positive reinforcements so that you increase motivation instead of decreasing it. Increasing the motivation in others will only help you to increase the motivation in yourself. So make sure to increase motivation through positive reinforcements so you can reap the rewards.
