Learning from mistakes and failures

contract19160481.jpgAt one point or another in our lives we all will make a mistake or we fail at something. It is not something we strive to do, but it is something that is a part of everyone's lives. Look at how hard some people have hard to work to become successful.

Think of the persistence Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had. When you are faced with a challenge, you will do your best not to make a mistake or fail, but it may happen. All you can do is learn from your mistake and use it in your daily life. When you fail at something, it can be devastating. Bouncing back from that failure can be even harder. Do as the famous saying "If you fall off your horse, get right back up and do it again".

When you find yourself faced with a mistake you made, you have to take what you did and apply it into your life. Finding that way to apply it may be a hard and challenging, but it is the best remedy you can have. Now that you have made a mistake, you want to do your hardest to not make it again. Even thought you try not to, it may happen. When you do make mistakes, you have to remind yourself that you are human and you will make them. If you have made a mistake with someone else and have hurt them or you have been hurt, you need to take the time to forgive that mistake and move on by forgetting it. It may be hard to do, but once you find that peace within that mistake you will be able to move on and remember not to make the same one again. Not all relationships are repairable. But you have to do your best to make it right.

We have all had times when we are faced with something new in our lives. It could be a new job, a pet or a new relationship. When these types of relationships end, 65% of people find themselves feeling like they have failed. Finding your way out of failure can be hard and trying; but if you can find the strength and motivation to push thru, you will be able to apply that failure into your life and you will find yourself being a much stronger person.

Searching for a way to move on from your failure is going to be up to you. You will have to find a way that you can focus and move on. Maybe write what your failure was down and put your feelings out on paper. When you are able to release what in on your mind, you will be able to move on. When you are writing your thoughts down, also write down how you are going to apply your failure into your life. How are you going to make sure you don't fail again or how can I what can I do next time? Don't use phrases such as, I could have done this differently or I should have been there. Making those comments will only bring negative thoughts.

Push past the negativity and find the positive out of what has happened. Making a mistake and failing is your negative. Apply that mistake and failure into your life should be the positive. When you are able to move past them and focus on the positive, you will be able to apply them in your life and you will find yourself more motivated to try things again and again. When you are positive you will also be able to help other move on from their mistakes and their failures. Being positive is contagious, let it start with you.
