There are many people who find that they are living an unfulfilled life and don't want to be in that situation. They feel trapped and like there is not really any way to break the cycle and really start doing what they want most and what is most important to them. But there is a process that can be followed to make this happen and to become a formidable force in life and to accomplish things that would have never been possible.

The first step in finding the motivation to live a better life is to find the reason you want to live each day. If you don't know what is going to make you feel better about what you do every day of your life, then you need to either remind yourself of what is most important to you or discover it for the first time. It doesn't matter what the most important things are for you in life, only that you find out what they are and them make a solid commitment to achieve them and live up to them.

You need to want something so bad that you are willing to do almost anything to get it done and to improve your life. It can sometimes take a great deal of time to find what you are committed to in your life and what is most important to you at one moment may change from another. This is normal but is something that has to be recognized. People live life in stages and there are often breaks between life stages where priorities change and people shift what is important to them. Just because a shift like this happens doesn't mean that you have lost your dreams and sense of purpose in life, but only means that you need to do some course corrections and find the right path for yourself again.

Another very important part of living a better life and finding the motivation to do it is to remind yourself that you are worth a lot to many people and that you may deserve more than you currently have. If you don't feel you are at that point, you have some work to do and need to realize that your potential for increase and development is bound only by your opinions of yourself. Understanding that you can become a better person by motivating yourself to live a better life is an incredible revelation. It may seem like an obvious fact, but it's also amazing how often people forget this very important point when they are going about their day to day activities without giving much attention to it at all.

Motivation to life a better life can come from many external sources outside yourself although they often need to come from within to be the most effective. A job or work can be a source of motivation to live a better life. No matter what kind of work you do, it is always possible to find satisfaction in the process and to make it just a little better for yourself and other people every day. Motivational materials like magazines or books can also help you realize that you can be living a better and happier life and can sometimes point the right direction to help you find that motivation.

The best sources for motivation other than your own feelings are other people who are important to you. Family and friends can be a great way to find motivation to be a better person and to be happier for someone else. Many people undergo dramatic transformations in their lives because they find someone that is more important to themselves than anything else and for whom they would give everything they have.
