Tips for finding your true purpose or path
When you wake up in the morning, what motivates you to get out of bed? Is it your family? How about your job? Maybe it's a hobby that you love so much. Whatever it is, it's something that makes life worth living. But more than just things in life, finding true purpose makes the pathway a little easier to tread as you continue forward in this miraculous journey. Here are some tips on feeling your purpose or path in life.
1. Know that every person, including yourself, is essentially good. We are good people making mistakes, and even bad choices. Having empathy for others and being to have an understanding of life past your own existence will open a world of understanding into your own life. From the opening, light will fall over your own life and you will learn valuable lessons that can benefit the choices you make for yourself. Hopefully those choices are for your good and the influence of those choices will ripple and the effective will have reaches well beyond your own years. Knowing that you can have a positive influence on people yet to be born makes your own life bigger and more full with the goals that you make for you and your family.

2. Be a loyal friend. Go out of your way to be a good friend to those you are close to. Why not make a stranger a friend while you're at it? While it is impossible to be close friends with everyone, it is possible for you to extend a hand of kindness that comes your way. No matter what you do in your life, if you find the joy that comes from serving others, then your life will echo with a legacy that people will remember and talk of fondly. Let's not get all talking about your death and all because you can experience that sense of purpose and joy as people around you become your life and you become a positive force for good in theirs'.
3. Work hard at whatever you do. Don't give in to laziness and halfhearted efforts. Laziness never was happiness and you will feel a lack of worth as you continue to develop the habit of giving up or settling for what is easy. The sense of purpose and joy that comes from hard earned accomplishment brings perspective and meaning into not only your life, but anyone who is influenced by those decisions. This could be friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers who come your way. Let your influence be directed to the betterment of society.
We are all rocks being tossed into the pond of life. With each decision we make we form ourselves into the kind of rock we are to become. When we hit those waters and ripple the water, the water will have an impact no matter if it is good or bad. Decide to do whatever you can to make it good. You know that old camping rule of leaving a campsite cleaner than when you found it? That totally applies here. While you are doing it, an overwhelming sense of confidence will take over your life and you will not help but become sure of the choices you are making. Finding a purpose or a pathway in life can come from many different sources including religion, family, education, careers or any mix of it all. What you make of it is what matters. The dedication and time you put into the betterment of yourself and all of the things you involve yourself into will make life purposeful.
