5 Ways to increase your sex drive

Sex is a great part of life, and most married couples enjoy a healthy, happy sex life. However, there are times in your life when your sex drive will suffer. This could be because of emotional, physical, or physiological reasons, but whatever the reason, it is important to increase your sex drive in order to stay happy. With just these five little suggestions, you increase your sex drive.
1. Get in shape. Seriously. Many medical studies have shown that exercise can increase your sex drive. Sex can be helped by stamina and that can mean doing a little cardio on a regular basis. Additionally, when you look better you feel better. When you feel better, the endorphins start flowing. When you feel confident about how you look to others, you put off a vibe. When others are attracted to you, you feel attractive. So, what it all comes down to is if you exercise, you will want to have sex more, and others will want to have sex with you more.

2. Pick a setting that works for you. For one person the bed may be the only way to go, for someone else the shower may bring on the mood. If spontaneity isn't your thing, then plan ahead. In fact, make an appointment and keep it. Make sure the temperature is right, mood music is going, and the door is locked. When you're in a setting that interests you it can affect the body and increase your sex drive. Why else would hotels like Anniversary Inn be so popular? So, if you do not know what your setting is, experiment until you find the atmosphere that gets you in the mood.
3. Do something romantic. Plan a wonderful date. Pick up "101 Nights of Great Sex" and follow up on some of the suggestions. For men, their sex drive is often physical first, emotional second. For women, it's generally emotional first and physical second. Which ever way works for you, identify it and focus on doing something that increases interest. Read a book or watch a movie that puts you in the right frame of mind. When your mind is in the mood, your body is more likely to be in the mood. So, try stuff.
4. Take a trip. Sometimes getting away can be an enhancement. When you do your best at something it's generally because you focus on the task. A trip can give you an opportunity to focus on the task and that can increase your sex drive. Just be sure to leave the phone and laptop behind. No neighbors, no doorbells, no phones and no kids. Hang out the do-not-disturb sign and enjoy. Sometimes the best way to increase your sex drive is simply to have sex more, the more you have it, the more you will want to have it.
5. If all else fails, talk to a doctor. There is nothing wrong with looking for medical help. Sometimes you may just need a little kick-start and these days there are plenty of medications on the market to help with that. Sometimes you sex drive could actually be suppressed by something that is medically wrong. If your hormones are out of line, if you are suffering from high-blood pressure or depression, you can have a lowered sex drive and never even know why.
A healthy sex drive is nothing to be ashamed of, so if your sex drive is suffering, take the above steps to kick it back into gear.
