One great way to build friendships and relationships, and to strengthen existing ones is through fun activities. When you are doing something together that you both enjoy, you foster good feelings, and give yourself a great foundation for building a relationships. The following is a look at some great activities for building relationships through fun.

Sports: Sports are a great way to build friendships and relationships. Whether you are in a team sport that is competitive, or you just play for fun with some neighbors, etc. sports bring out the fun, the competitive, and give you something to talk about. Sports are also great for building relationships because they require teamwork. When you have to rely on others, and work with them for a win, you establish bonds of trust, you get to know them better, and you learn to value them for their positives.

In addition, sports are a great activity for building relationships because when you are active, your body produces endorphins, and these make you happy. When you are happy around people, it is far easier to like them, and when others are happy it is easier to like them, and for them to like you. So, it is a win-win.

Crafting: Crafting is a fun activity that can help you build your relationships in a number of ways. Most people would not think that sitting down at a table together and creating a craft could help a relationship, but in fact, it can do wonders. First, when crafting you have the opportunity to express yourself through a medium. This means that as you craft with someone, you get a chance to see them, and their personality better, as it is executed in a craft.

Someone who is a perfectionist is not going to make crafting an exception. Someone with a fun, buoyant personality may use bright colors, and funky patterns.

In addition, crafting allows for you to make something together. This gives you a memento of your time spent together, and provides a trigger for fun memories, which can do nothing to hurt your relationship.

Last but not least, crafting is something you do with your hands, and it gives you plenty of opportunity to talk and get to know each other better as you stay involved in an activity.

Debates:
A debate is one of the best ways to get to know someone and build a relationship as long as you do not let differences in opinion cause a rift in your relationship. If you can get in the spirit of a debate, and enjoy yourselves by trying to prove your point, you will get to know each other better, share some great laughs, and learn how the other person thinks. If you can't debate without letting things escalate into a fight, then do not try this activity.
