Making friends after you get divorced

The main reason for this is that when you get divorced many of your friends' feel awkward being around you because they used to be friends with both you and your spouse. Most people who were your friends once you got married, no matter how well intentioned they are, have a hard time being friends with both people. The main reason for that is that most people have opinions and those opinions are not easily kept to themselves, meaning they probably have an opinion one way or another about your divorce from your spouse.
