How to act on a crush

flowers37734910.jpgIf you have a crush on somebody, the biggest thing that you are worried about is keeping your feelings quiet; you want to be discreet about having a crush on somebody. One of the reasons that people do not like to talk about crushes is because guys prefer girls who play a little hard to get rather than girls who show obvious signs of affection, the same concept holds true for girls. Acting normal around your crush is one of the best things that you can do to get your crush's attention and still spark their interest.

Here are the steps you will need to follow to act on your crush.

Step one:
Make sure that you stay calm, all too often people freak out around their crushes and act silly. Chances are when your crush gets near you the butterflies in your stomach are going to try to take over. Keeping your nerves under control and not letting your nerves get the best of you is essential if you want to keep your crush a secret. If you let your nerves take over your crush is going to know something is going on.

Step two:

Keep the conversation light; do not start drilling them about their personal life. If you start asking them twenty questions about who they are dating or where their perfect date is they might not like it and they might start getting suspicious. Instead, you want to talk to them about things that you have in common, such as sports or mutual friends.

Step three:

When you are talking to your crush, you need to be careful about how much interest you show towards them. You don't want them to think that you are too interested, but at the same time, you don't want them to think that you are not at all interested. You need to show them just the right amount of interest. To effectively do this you will need to not hang on their every word, and still talk to other people.

Step four:
You need to work on keeping your hands to yourself. Some people have a habit of being touchy when they are talking to other people, but if you are not careful people, especially your crush, can get the wrong idea about you. You do not want to paw your crush the entire time that you are talking to them, if you seem to touchy they might get the wrong idea and think that you are simply easy rather than in love with them.

Step five:

Do not be the one to make the first move. You want to sit back and wait for your crush to initiate things with you. Instead of you suggesting going and hanging out or finding them after practice, allow your crush to make those suggestions. You want to make them put forth the effort to talk and hang out with you.

Step six:
Do not try to make the person you have a crush on jealous by flirting with all of their friends. Doing this can send the message that you are easy, but it can also make your crush think that you are not interested in them at all.

Step seven:
Try to keep your crush a secret from most people, don't tell everyone about your crush. The more people that you tell the higher the chances that your crush will find out that you like them. Moreover, having all of your friends and all of their friends know about your crush can make it even more uncomfortable for you to be around because you will be worried about what people are going to say or do.

Just remember the best thing that you can do is to act natural around your crush. Sit back and be yourself and soon they might just have a crush on you.
