How to show appreciation to your friends for their friendship
When you want to show appreciation to your friends for their friendship, there are a number of things you can do. Let's take a look at some of the things you can do, and how to do them in the most effective way:
First, to show your appreciation for their friendship you will want to be a good friend back. Some times the best way to show gratitude for a great friendship is to reciprocate. Anything you appreciate them doing, be sure you do the same. When they see a great friendship in return they will understand without question that an effort is being given in return. The most effective way to do this is just make mental notes about what you appreciate from them, whether it is phone calls, help, invitations to dinner, etc. then do the same for them.

Another great way to show appreciation to your friends for their friendship is simply by expressing it verbally. Telling someone how much you love being their friends, and how grateful you are for their friendship is not only very effective, but it is also very healthy for friendships. People want praise, they want to know they are appreciated, and they want to know you notice what they do for you, and what kind of friend they are. So, whenever you feel the urge, speak up. Tell them how much you appreciate them. The most effective way to do this is also the simplest. You literally say, "I really appreciate your friendship." You can add that it means a lot to you, or anything else you feel like adding.
A fun way to show appreciation to someone for their friendship is with a goody tray or basket. Often times you can take fun goodies, attach silly sayings, and express exactly how you feel without a serious streak. For example, you can give a loaf of banana nut bread and say, "I would be "nuts" not to be friends with you." Or you could give a fresh fruit basket and say, "Orange you glad we are friends? I am. Thanks berry much for all that you do." There are tons of silly sayings, and ways to incorporate food and goodies into a way of expressing appreciation for a friendship. Your friends will love hearing it, and they will also enjoy the delicious treats as well.
Another good way to tell your friends you appreciate their friendship is by writing it out. Send a fun quick email. Send a text message that just says, "Thanks for being a great friend." Write it on a note. Or, literally send them a thank you card, but just express in the card that the thanks is not for one thing in particular, but just in general for their great friendship.
Everyone loves feeling appreciated, so no matter how you go about expressing your appreciation for a friendship, you probably can't go wrong. Just be sure you avoid any racial slurs, jokes, crude items, etc. in your approach and you will be fine. It is always fun to receive a treat, so emphasize the fact you appreciate them by paying attention to what they enjoy, whether it is toffee and peanut brittle, or coffee and pastries, and try to treat them to something fun.
Never forget, your relationships are all you take with you out of this life, so make the most of them and be sure to show the people you love and appreciate how much they really do matter to you.
