Number one: Just a feeling

Many times women get a nagging feeling that something isn't right. There is no reason why some women get this feeling, but deep in their gut, they just think that something is wrong. Many times your gut starts telling you that something is going on and you need to pay attention before anything even happens. Once you have that nagging feeling it is important to start paying attention, you just don't want to take any drastic action yet because there is still a chance that you are wrong.

Number two: Inconsistencies

Something else that you might start noticing is that the information he is telling you is not adding up, you begin to notice that small inconsistencies in what he is telling you. For example, he states that he was at his mother's house helping her build a fence or something else and later on you find out his mom paid a fence company to build her fence because he never showed up to do it. The main reason that you will start to notice that the stories are not adding up or that he is not where he says he was is because when cheaters start making up alibis they often have a hard time keeping everything straight, they forget what they have told you.

Number three: Lack of intimacy and sex

Many people think that intimacy and sex are the same thing, but in a relationship, they are quite different. With intimacy you will be spending time together talking, laughing, sharing secrets, you just enjoy spending time alone together. When you spend time alone together, you feel that connection, a pull between the two of you. Sex on the other hand is purely physical, but intimacy can also be involved in sex. If your boyfriend is cheating on one thing you will start to notice is that the intimacy is no longer there, the connection is starting to fade away, or it is gone. You will also notice that he is no longer interested in having sex with you, this can mean other things so don't be quick to judge if this is the only sign.

Number four: Going out

While going out with the guys is something that can be expected, you need to watch out for when he no longer wants to take you anywhere. If he is avoiding taking you out in public, even if it just to go out to a friend's house for a BBQ chances are there is somebody in that social group that he is cheating on you with. If you he is, avoiding taking you to work functions, such as holiday parties, there could be a co-worker that he is involved with.

Number five: Strange phone numbers

If you start noticing strange phone numbers showing up in his phone or if you happen t notice many wrong numbers calling his house when you are home chances are there is something going on. This is especially true if you confront him on the strange number and he makes up some kind of lame excuse as to why he called it. If you think something is going on the best thing you can do is to look up the phone number in a reverse directory to see what information you can glean from it.
