The first thing that you can do on a daily basis is to tell your spouse that you love them. You can actually do this more than once a day and it is actually beneficial to do it more than once a day. You should say the words before leaving for work and when you come home from work and before you go to bed. Some other good times to say "I love you" are before hanging up the phone or after a really nice conversation you should also say it just because. Every marriage needs at least a daily dose of these three words, if not more And don't worry saying those words as often as you want is not a bad habit to have. You should tell your spouse that you love them even if you are upset with them that day because saying it might help you forgive them.

Number two:
When you first started dating you probably handed out compliments on a daily basis. But after being in a relationship for a period of time you sometimes forget to give out those same compliments, especially after you have gotten married. Some people might assume that their spouse already knows how they feel about them or some people might think that they no longer need to tell their spouse how they feel about them. But the truth of the matter is that we all need to hear it so don't be afraid to tell them how you really feel about them. A compliment a day improves our intimate lives in ways we can not even imagine. If your spouse is not feeling sexy or attractive, why should they want to make love to you?

Number three:
Something else that you can do to help your marriage is to actually let your spouse now that you need them. Many people take their spouses for granted thinking that their spouses are always going to be there and they often fail to tell their spouses that they appreciate what their spouses are doing and that they actually need their spouses. So what you should do is to tell your spouse that you can't imagine life without them, which most of us happen to remember to do on anniversaries. But the truth of the matter is that we actually need our spouses more often than once a year so we shouldn't be afraid to tell them that we need them and appreciate them more than once a year.

Number four:
Another thing that you can do on a daily basis is to tell your spouse thank you. Many times we tell complete strangers thank you for little things but we tend to forget to thank the people who are closest to us. It always feels good to hear the words thank you, no matter what it is for because it makes us fell wanted and needed rather than taking advantage of. Many times people tend to not thank those closest to them because of the fact that they automatically assume that these people know how they actually feel. But even if they do know how you feel it is still nice to hear it.
